Privacy policy
Draft for legal review. This policy is a working draft and must be reviewed by a qualified attorney before public launch.
What we collect
- Directory use: we record anonymous usage events (for example, that a search happened and how many results it returned). We do not record IP addresses or build advertising profiles.
- Interviews: the organization details you choose to share (type, state, industry, project goals, size). We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank credentials, or similar sensitive data. Interview answers are encrypted at rest.
- Newsletter: your email address, the preferences you select, and a record of your consent.
- Payments: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
To provide search, screenings, reports, and newsletters you request; to keep the service secure; and to improve it in aggregate. We do not sell personal information. We do not share your information with grant writers or other partners unless you explicitly ask us to.
Retention and deletion
Interviews and reports expire automatically (default 90 days). You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and you can unsubscribe from email with one click.
